A student-led 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness for cancer in all its forms and promoting proactiveness in early detection and prevention.
We believe that knowledge is the most powerful weapon against cancer.
Objective: Cancer was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that knowledge saves lives. Too many people are affected by cancer every year, and too many of those cases could have been prevented or detected earlier with the right information.
As a student-led organization, we bring a fresh, energetic perspective to cancer awareness. We meet people where they are — on social media, in schools, and in communities — and give them the tools they need to take control of their health.
Our goal is to make cancer education accessible, engaging, and actionable for everyone, regardless of background or age.
Support Our Mission
Objective: Cancer started as a small idea among students who wanted to make a difference. We saw how cancer touched the lives of people around us — family members, teachers, friends — and felt compelled to act.
What started as a social media page quickly grew into a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit with chapters at Boston Latin School and Boston Latin Academy, an active outreach initiative, and a growing community of supporters.
We're just getting started. Our vision is to expand to more schools, reach more communities, and ultimately contribute to a world where cancer is caught earlier and prevented more often.
