Making a real impact through donation drives, bake sales, and weekly community building at BLA.
Here's what the BLA chapter has been working on to support cancer patients and raise awareness.
Our most recent project โ assembling care packages with handwritten cards for cancer patients.
Care packages are a huge part of what we do at BLA โ because beyond raising awareness, we want to directly support cancer patients and their families in any way we can.
We've already completed a donation drive for the Dana-Farber/Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore Health, delivering care packages filled with personal items and handwritten gift cards from our members.
And we're not stopping there โ we're currently working on our next donation drives for Hope Lodge and Beth Israel. Stay tuned! ๐๏ธ
Being President of BLA's chapter has been fun and exciting, introducing me to new responsibilities and allowing me to make a real impact in people's lives.
I love snowboarding, trying new places, playing sports, and traveling outside the US with my family!
I'm on the Track & Field and Volleyball teams at BLA, and I serve as President of Objective: Cancer's BLA Chapter.
I'm a junior at BLA, born and raised in Boston. I love spending time with friends and exploring new spots around the city!
In the future, I hope to pursue a career in the medical or healthcare field and continue making an impact in my community.
Are you a BLA student who wants to make a difference? Come to one of our weekly meetings!
